DigiBoard PC/Xi is fast and powerful and offers rapid data transfer ratesand the most flexible configuration. It provides a dedicated I/ Oprocessor, on-board RAM and Front End Processor/Operating System (FEP/OS)which works to relieve the host computer of most of the processing burdenassociated with multichannel communications. The PC/Xi is designed formaximum flexibility. Available on eight-port (DigiBoard PC/8i) or 16-port (DigiBoard PC/16i) configurations, it supports full modem controland full hardware handshaking on all channels.
